About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our Fresh Produce team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the ordering and demand planning for fresh produce, ensuring that our stores receive the freshest and highest-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Supply Chain Officers and Consultants to ensure seamless operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with suppliers and the buying team to ensure smooth stock management of fresh produce categories
  • Oversee the handling of day-to-day operations, including ordering and inventory management
  • Run daily and weekly reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on fresh produce
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent numerical skills, with the ability to work with numbers and data
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • German language skills are highly desirable
