Position Overview

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and highly driven individual to join the National Safeguarding Service (NHS Wales) as a Senior Administrative Support Officer.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational abilities, demonstrating flexibility while assisting in the execution of the team's operational objectives. Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is a fundamental requirement.

Key Responsibilities

To qualify for this position, candidates must have a proven track record in providing administrative support or a similar role, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. Competence in managing schedules and taking minutes is essential, along with exceptional personal and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) to effectively engage with stakeholders across various levels in Wales.

Job Responsibilities

Proficiency in the Welsh language is preferred for this role; however, applications from both English and/or Welsh speakers are equally encouraged.

Qualifications

Essential

  • RSA III/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and numeracy

Desirable

  • Advanced ECDL certification

  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
