Position Overview

This role offers an opportunity to join a dedicated administrative team within the Department of Sexual Health. The successful candidate will be engaged in a variety of clerical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of clinic services.

Working Hours

The standard working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Additionally, there will be a requirement to participate in an evening clinic on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive booking service for designated clinics or other areas as directed by management.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical teams to achieve shared objectives in delivering contraceptive services.
  • Maintain high standards of clerical duties, ensuring all preparations and deliveries meet departmental deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and uphold confidentiality in all responsibilities.
  • Work effectively under pressure, utilizing initiative to manage daily tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Good standard of education, including GCSE or equivalent.
  • Experience in administration and reception duties.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within a sexual health department.
  • Familiarity with clinical information systems.
