**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in our Billingham services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide respectful personal care and support to individuals with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, and housework.
  • Support service users in accessing social and leisure activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain warm and trusting relationships with service users, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
  • Carry out administrative duties, housing management tasks, and medication distribution, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in care or a related field, with a focus on person-centred support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work positively within a team.
  • Ability to follow agreed guidelines and work within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
  • Car driver preferred, with the ability to transport service users to activities in the local community.
