Highways Supervisor

Pave Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our local depot, managing a team of professionals, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the depot, ensuring that all teams are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance of the depot, including the management of resources, budgets, and personnel.
- Conduct site audits and promote health and safety practices among team members.
- Manage the HR requirements for the team, including annual and sick leave, timesheets, and health and safety.
- Collaborate with the Programmer to ensure that KPIs are met, defects are logged, and people resources are managed.
Requirements:
- Background in highways with demonstrable management experience.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Leadership skills and ability to manage diverse teams and multiple projects at one time.
- Keen decision-making skills.
- CSCS card holder.
- UK drivers license.
About You:
As a Highways Supervisor, you will need to have effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport within a team. You will ideally have a background in highways with demonstrable management experience, attention to detail, and time management skills. You will also need to have leadership skills and be able to manage diverse teams and multiple projects at one time.
