Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Nursing Associate to join our team at Harefield Hospital, working in cardiology and surgery. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses with ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, providing person-centered care and promoting health and independence.
  • Prioritize workload according to changing clinical needs and demonstrate ability to recognize changing priorities.
  • Contribute to setting goals and benchmarking standards of care, developing tools to improve service quality.
  • Work in an effective and organized manner, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Maintain excellent clinical standards of nursing practice and act as a patient advocate.
  • Ensure nursing documentation is maintained to Trust standards and national guidance.
