Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Nursing Associate to join our team at Harefield Hospital, working in cardiology and surgery. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working under the direction of a registered nurse.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses with ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, providing person-centered care and promoting health and independence.
  • Prioritize workload according to changing clinical needs, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Collaborate with the ward team to ensure patients' needs are met to a consistently high standard.
  • Maintain excellent clinical standards of nursing practice, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • Nursing Associate qualification
  • NMC registration
  • Cardiology/surgical experience (desirable)
