About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Inclusion Manager to join our team at Education Network Leeds. As an Inclusion Manager, you will play a critical role in advocating for and implementing inclusive practices across the school. You will be responsible for ensuring that all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), receive the support necessary to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the school's inclusion policies and practices, in line with current legislation and best practices.
  • Oversee the identification and support for students with additional needs, ensuring that appropriate interventions are timely and effective.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and offer training to support differentiated instruction.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, providing expert guidance and support for their child's educational journey.
  • Monitor and track the progress of students with additional needs to ensure they are meeting their educational targets.
  • Lead and support the Inclusion Team by fostering effective communication and collaboration among all staff members involved in supporting learners.
  • Stay informed of local and national inclusion initiatives to advocate for best practices within the school.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree in Education or Special Educational Needs.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and effective inclusion strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • A sincere passion for promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
