About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Workplace Experience Manager to join our team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional employee experience across our Bradford location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Innovative Workplace Solutions: Develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance the workplace environment, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction and well-being.
  • Lead Workplace Strategy: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify future workplace needs and trends, and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Integrate DE&I Best Practices: Work with our HR team to integrate the latest diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) thinking and best practices into our workplace environment.
  • Manage Operational Budgets: Contribute to the development of operational budgets and monitor spend and financial forecasting in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
  • Culture Promotion: Promote the culture of our company in the working environment, fostering a culture that is agile, engaging, collaborative, supportive, and welcoming.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate issues in a timely manner to the UK Facilities Manager, providing written and proven track records of relevant issues.
  • Business Continuity: Assist in the completion of the office Business Continuity plan.
  • Occupancy Management: Analyze and monitor occupation levels onsite, manage relocation changes as needed, and liaise with teams and HR in respect to all planning and review.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors that provide services and goods.
  • Performance Monitoring: Support with the periodic reviews and monitoring of performance in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs of the service provider teams.
  • Issue Resolution: Support the Senior Facilities Assistant (SFA) on assessment and resolution of issues that may arise with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Workplace Environment: Work in calibration with the SFA to ensure the workplace environment and employee experience elements are sustained at the highest level.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Context and Environment:

  • Located at Bradford, UK – infrequent travel is expected.
  • Exchange and cooperation with other partner Facilities locations within the Liberty Global footprint.
  • Collaboration with relevant local governmental or organizational parties and agencies.
  • Supporting the UK Facilities Manager as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a facilities management role in a dynamic environment, organization with a focus on hospitality and stakeholder experience.
  • Proven experience in creating a totally inclusive workplace environment.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing measurable KPIs and SLAs related to vendor agreements and the translation of those to the end user.
  • Proven knowledge on compliance related to industry codes for building, Health & Safety, security, and other relevant topics. Manage the site accordingly.
  • Strong building of effective relationships with vendors to improve their performance.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of employees, including senior management.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Native English speaker, any other languages advantageous.
  • Competent in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Ability to work with varied workload.
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent understanding of budget formats and reports.
  • Team player but also ability to function independently and proactively.

Working Relationships and Team Working:

Internal:

  • Regular contact with all levels and several departments within the organization.
  • Daily contact with local service delivery team on location & IT operations.
  • Liaison with Security Management regarding daily operations and planning.
  • Maintains strong working-relationships with other (internal service delivery) departments (Finance, Legal, Procurement, IT, HR, Marketing, Corporate comms) and the Global and Central Property & Facilities teams.
  • Experience in Space planning, customer service, and hospitality.

External:

  • External contact & management of suppliers.
