We are seeking an experienced EDI Officer to join our team at the University of Huddersfield. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to deliver the vision of our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Framework.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the EDI Manager to develop and deliver the EDI strategy, implementing EDI priorities and activities relating to the University's workforce.
- Support the management, coordination, and delivery of projects that underpin and drive forward the University's EDI initiatives.
- Embed equality, diversity, and inclusion across University processes, culture, and behaviour.
- Work with colleagues to identify and address equality, diversity, and inclusion issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Knowledge and experience of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion matters.
- Good understanding of how the Equality Act 2010 works in practice.
- Ability to identify ways to embed equality, diversity, and inclusion across University processes, culture, and behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
