Job Title: Band 4 Trainee Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-growing team across Bradford and Craven District, providing mental health support to children and young people in education settings.

Job Purpose:
  1. To develop knowledge and practice skills in delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems in education settings.
  2. To help children and young people in these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services.
  3. To support and facilitate staff in education settings to identify and manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
  4. To work with and within educational environments to provide better access to specialist mental health services.
  5. To evidence development of skills with associated knowledge acquisition to record and evidence progression towards an academic award and demonstrable practical ability.
