Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health Practitioner to join our Children and Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service (CYP CEDS) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people with eating disorders, working collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individualized support to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and training to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements
  • RMN, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker qualification.
  • 2 years post-qualification experience in a mental health setting.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with eating disorders (desirable).
