Job Overview

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join our Children and Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children and young people with eating disorders.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Work closely with families and carers to provide support and education.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a mental health setting.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with eating disorders is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
