Claims Performance Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Performance Analyst to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Claims COO, you will play a vital role in tracking and analysing Claims Indemnity (Claims Cost) performance for our redesign programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality indemnity tracking across the Claims transformation programme.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business decision points and activities into measurement methodologies.
  • Support the timely and accurate population of tracking and provide high-quality, actionable insights based on data.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and problem-solving, demonstrating a curious mindset and producing high-quality presentations of analysis.
  • Support the creation of forecasts for programme benefits, ensuring that the impact of risks and opportunities on benefit trajectories is understood by delivery theme teams.
  • Work with the claims finance team to translate lead operational indicator tracking into a P&L view.
  • Contribute to the improvement of overall data quality and governance within the claims function.

Requirements:

  • GI and claims experience preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent Excel modelling skills with the ability to translate and manage complex formulas and interrogate large data sets.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate performance effectively at both summary and detailed levels.
