About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Leader to join our team at Sky Group. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving business value through effective supplier management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Supplier Management Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain a robust supplier management function aligned with our business strategy.
  2. Build and Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Manage Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strategic and tactical relationships with suppliers to ensure contractual and financial obligations are met, resulting in maximum value for the business.
  4. Establish Governance Structure: Create a standardized approach to supplier management, including supplier performance reviews, matrices, dashboards, and service transition plans.
  5. Escalation and Arbitration: Serve as the point of accountability for relationship and performance issues, and for commercial and operational problems.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supplier-related risks, and develop tools and reporting to support risk management actions.
  7. Contract Renewals: Drive initiatives related to contract renewals, ensuring optimal business outcomes.
  8. Commercial Management: Demonstrate strong commercial management skills and financial awareness.
  9. Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Utilize data and metrics to inform business decisions and develop compelling business cases.
  10. Communication and Presentation: Clearly present and articulate data insights to stakeholders.
  11. Business Acumen: Develop a deep understanding of our products, business, and competitive landscape.
