We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Planning and Performance Manager to join our team at Mace. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Control: Lead the planning team to provide planning support for all aspects of project planning, ensuring consistent and competent monitoring, recording, and analysis of performance against baseline and the change control process.
- Business Strategy Development: Develop and implement business strategy that identifies and embeds planning lessons learned, driving business growth and improvement.
- Process Improvement: Manage the implementation of planning work processes and procedures in accordance with approved pathways and deviations, assessing and determining the need for change to planning processes and methods.
- Contractual Schedule Management: Assess and determine the need for change to contractual schedules and compensation events to support the business in schedule-related commercial aspects.
- Performance Analysis: Identify and analyze performance across a program of critical path projects, planning and managing complex multi-project program time schedules to ensure delivery of intended business benefits.
- Training and Development: Conduct project controls orientation/training sessions for program teams and assist senior management with the interpretation of periodic time schedule/cost reports, provisioning ongoing training for those in the business unit planning pool.
- Best Practice Intelligence: Collate best practice intelligence from both external and internal sources to be shared with central areas/business unit.
- Safety Culture: Accountable for driving and leading a positive safety culture within TfL projects and ensuring their team is invested in managing and improving HSE performance.
- Leadership and Inclusion: Demonstrate leadership in equality of opportunity, social inclusion, fair employment, and environmental sustainability, creating an open, inclusive, and engaging environment within TfL and across stakeholders, customers, and supply chain.
- Experience: Exposure of working as a Primavera P6 project planner on large-scale construction/civils/infrastructure projects ideally for a tier 1 contractor or a client-side consultancy.
- Education: A construction-related degree (civil/structural engineering, or construction/project management or equivalent).
- Skills: A construction or project management background and a hunger to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
