About the Role

Westlakes Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales process to identify customer needs and challenges. You will lead the capture team, working closely with our operational teams to shape a winning technical solution, delivery model, and value proposition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and Exceed Product-Based Targets: Responsible for meeting and exceeding product-based targets, including OE, margin as sold, pipeline growth, and win/loss ratio.
  • Lead Opportunity Development: Lead the opportunity development sales funnel process from identification through offer development and contract closure.
  • Develop and Maintain Technical and Sales Knowledge: Develop and maintain technical and sales-related knowledge to support responsible product portfolio needs within assigned business segments and product portfolios.
  • Oversee Capture Strategy: Oversee the capture strategy for opportunities, including identifying bundling opportunities, cross-coordinating products to present customer-oriented solutions, and working with Product Management and Account Management to define target price and target costs.
  • Negotiate with Clients: Responsible for negotiations with clients until final contract signature, ensuring proper teamwork and alignment with all relevant teammates, including Account Managers, Product Management, Legal, Finance, and supporting organizations.
  • Facilitate Negotiations: Facilitate negotiations with Consortium partners whenever relevant and alignment with all relevant teammates.
  • Manage Opportunities and Data: Responsible for the management of opportunities and data within the customer relationship management tool for associated opportunities.
  • Lead LOA and Offer Processes: Lead the LOA and offer processes within the business, including presentation and obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders to ensure offering meets target objectives and customer needs.
  • Build Sales Plans: Build sales plans with Global accounts per customer per product line.
  • Ensure Quality Inputs: Ensure quality inputs on pricing strategy and commercial elements of the LOA and offer processes within, including presentation and obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders to ensure offering meets target objectives and customer needs.
Requirements
  • Dynamic Self-Starter: Dynamic self-starter with business development acumen.
  • Customer Interfacing Experience: Customer interfacing experience, preferably having held a commercial role.
  • Good Communicator: Good communicator.
  • Well-Organized: Well-organized.
  • Closing Deals Oriented: Close deals orientated.
  • Nuclear Knowledge: Knowledge of customer operations or general knowledge of related Nuclear Plant Operations.
  • Nuclear Utility Buying Processes: Knowledge of Nuclear Utility buying processes.
  • Nuclear Products and Process: Knowledge of nuclear products and process is a strong plus.
  • Fluent English: Fluent English.
