Academic HR Specialist

HRLife Ltd is seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join their team. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the business with all aspects of HR, including employee lifecycle administration, recruitment, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including absence, performance, and disciplinary procedures.
- Work closely with managers to upskill and coach them on having difficult conversations and educating them on HR processes and policies.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation.
- Coordinate and manage all long-term absence, including attending meetings and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Oversee the payroll process, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Take ownership of all GDPR-related tasks and requests, adhering to legal requirements.
- Manage all recruitment administration, ensuring a great candidate experience.
- Embed new initiatives around wellbeing and diversity and inclusion.
- Support the HR Manager to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
- Assist and support in strengthening the reward and recognition programmes, including reviewing the current benefit packages to ensure the business remains competitive.
- Contribute to business-focused projects, including retention, mental health, employee engagement, reward, and recognition.
- Own the lifecycle administration, including onboarding, inductions, starters, and leavers.

Ideal Background:- Minimum CIPD L3 or equivalent.
- Previous experience in dealing with ER cases, such as Grievance/Disciplinary hearings.
This role is hybrid, with 3 days a week in the office in North Surrey and 2 days at home.
