ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a key member of the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Finance Team, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to senior management in plant operations and engineering. Your role will involve providing essential financial support to manufacturing sectors, generating insightful reports, and aiding in the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes. You will also conduct ad hoc analyses to ensure thorough financial evaluations of all manufacturing initiatives and capital expenditures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Plant Managers and the Engineering team to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Participate in regular performance review meetings and respond to ad hoc requests for financial assistance from plant teams.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and management reports for the plants.
  • Conduct financial closing activities for the plants, providing detailed analysis and insights into costs and variances.
  • Generate periodic management reports and analyses at the plant level, comparing total delivered costs against annual standards and quarterly forecasts.
  • Assess and report weekly on risks and opportunities for each plant, outlining necessary actions to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee the annual standard cost of goods process and quarterly forecast submissions for manufacturing.
  • Support the validation and assessment of capital investments and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure financial controls are in place for manufacturing processes and report any discrepancies to the leadership team.
  • Assist regional engineering and project managers with financial oversight and validation of expected benefits from capital projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA or ACCA).
  • Experience in industry accounting.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in analyzing and reporting financial performance.
  • Experience in implementing effective financial controls.
  • Strong business partnership skills and a proactive approach.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
