ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a key member of the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Finance Team, you will serve as a vital finance partner to senior plant operations and engineering teams. Your expertise will provide essential financial support to our manufacturing sectors, ensuring the production process is both efficient and profitable. You will be responsible for generating insightful reports and aiding in the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes. Additionally, you will conduct ad hoc analyses to ensure thorough financial evaluations of all manufacturing initiatives and capital expenditures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a financial advisor to Plant Managers and the Engineering team.
- Participate in regular performance reviews and provide financial insights during meetings.
- Prepare and analyze financial and management reports for the plants.
- Conduct financial closing processes, offering detailed analysis and explanations of costs and variances.
- Generate periodic management reports, comparing total delivered costs against annual standards and forecasts.
- Assess and report weekly on risks and opportunities, implementing necessary actions to mitigate risks.
- Oversee the annual standard cost of goods process and quarterly forecast submissions for manufacturing.
- Support the validation and assessment of capital investments and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure financial controls are maintained throughout manufacturing processes and report any discrepancies to leadership.
- Assist regional engineering and project managers with financial oversight of capital projects, validating expected financial benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA or ACCA).
- Experience in industry accounting.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills for financial performance reporting.
- Experience in implementing robust financial controls.
- Proactive approach to business partnership.
- Experience in project management.
