Role Responsibilities:

As a Medical Assistance Coordinator, you will serve as the initial contact for customers worldwide seeking medical support while traveling. This role is ideal for those eager to make a significant difference in the lives of clients during challenging times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Offering practical assistance and solutions to customers in distress.
  • Collaborating with our in-house medical professionals to arrange necessary medical services and emergency travel support.
  • Providing guidance on policy coverage and monitoring patient status during emergencies.
  • Coordinating pre-travel medical advice, appointments, and hospitalizations abroad.
  • Documenting all case details accurately in our systems.
  • Managing escalated inquiries and ensuring effective resolution of complaints.

Qualifications:

While prior experience in a contact center or insurance sector is advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates should be resilient, motivated, and eager to learn, possessing the following skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, demonstrating empathy and patience.
  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and familiarity with Outlook.
  • Ability to navigate challenging conversations and resolve issues efficiently.
