About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) in Oxfordshire as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Occupational Therapist who has a strong understanding of the contribution of Occupational Therapists in supporting individuals in mental health crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine the Occupational Therapy pathway within the team, ensuring that services are evidence-based and follow client-centered principles.
  • Plan, provide, develop, and evaluate Occupational Therapy interventions, including documenting all stages of the process and taking a lead role for defined projects or specialist interventions.
  • Manage the Occupational Therapy clinical performance, supporting the provision of data and reports to demonstrate both activity and outcomes.
  • Provide clinical supervision to the CRHT Occupational therapy staff in the safe delivery of assessment, care planning, and implementation of occupational interventions.
  • Work in a recovery-focused, trauma-informed way, providing complex 1:1 occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
Requirements
  • Post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a range of mental health settings.
  • Understanding of the application of physical health skills in mental health.
  • Ability to manage stressful, upsetting, or emotional situations in an empathic manner.
  • Managing and supervising people, leading quality improvement and audit, and using a range of standardized and non-standardized OT assessments.
