About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Designer to lead our global design team at Reuters Plus, the commercial creative studio at Thomson Reuters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing creative concepts, leading design projects, and collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a global design team, overseeing the development of creative concepts, from page and video designs to social promotions and interactive digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Social, and Production teams to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
  • Work closely with the Content Director to drive creative innovation and attract new business opportunities.
  • Help raise the profile of Reuters Plus capabilities on the global stage.
  • Develop and inspire the global creative team, encouraging them to produce award-winning work.
About You

We're looking for a seasoned design professional with a strong background in commercial design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation. If you have:

  • Significant design experience at an agency or in-house studio.
  • A good understanding of the global business landscape and brand identities.
  • Demonstrable experience working with digital design tools, including Ceros, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects.
  • A strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • Experience working with different time zones and tight deadlines.
  • A proven ability to think creatively and develop solutions that align with commercial business objectives.
