About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Designer to join our team at Reuters Plus, the commercial creative studio at Reuters. As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for leading a global design team, ranging from backend to frontend immersive design capabilities and pre-sales mocks.

You will take a key role in the development of Reuters Plus creative concepts, from page and video designs to social promotions and interactive digital experiences. You will communicate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, from Sales and Marketing to Social and Production, and work closely with the Reuters Plus Content Director to ensure creative innovation across the group and to attract new and existing business.

You will help to raise the profile of Reuters Plus capabilities on the global stage and help to develop and inspire the global creative team, and encourage them to produce award-winning work.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Lead Designer if your background includes:

  • Significant design experience at an agency or in-house studio.
  • A good understanding of the global business landscape and the nuances around brand and corporate identities.
  • Demonstrable experience working with many digital design tools, including Ceros, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects.
  • A strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
  • A proven ability to think creatively and develop solutions that align with commercial business objectives.
  • A belief in B2B as the next frontier for creative content excellence.
