About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to join our team at Morrisons Pharmacy. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a friendly, confidential, and attentive service to patients
  • Support the management of Over The Counter (OTC) sales and stock replenishment
  • Label and dispense Prescription Only Medicines (POMs) in accordance with pharmacy procedures
  • Ensure the safe handover of prescriptions to patients
  • Assist with resolving customer queries and concerns
  • Report dispensing errors and near misses to the pharmacy team
  • Contribute to the delivery of a range of pharmacy services
  • Support the pharmacy team and manager in achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has:

  • Completed an approved Pharmacy Assistant training course (NPA Interact)
  • Completed an approved Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant course (NPA DAC - 1 year course)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working shifts and weekends as required
