We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at AmcoGiffen in the Southern region. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of various rail, civil engineering, and electrical maintenance/installation projects within our portfolio of project work.
Key Responsibilities- Site Set Up and Upkeep: Ensure the site is properly set up and maintained, including the management of site processes and the upkeep of accurate records.
- Day-to-Day Management: Supervise a workforce of subcontractors and directly employed staff, including the ordering of materials, equipment, and small items of plant.
- Site Inductions and Briefings: Conduct site inductions for all site personnel and visitors, and carry out daily white board briefings to keep the team informed.
- Communication and Liaison: Communicate Work Package Plans, Task Briefings, Tool Box Talks, and Safety Alerts to the workforce, and liaise with public, local council officials, and key rail clients.
- Company Representation: Represent the company at the site and ensure a positive company image is portrayed at all times.
- Project Support: Assist the project team with change assessments and keep site records up to date.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Site Manager in a rail civil engineering and electrical maintenance environment.
- Certifications: PTS, SSSTS/SMSTS, and experience as a Site Manager in a rail contracting environment.
- Skills: Experience in rail working on civil engineering associated projects.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive annual salary negotiable dependant on experience.
