An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Medical Day Case Unit and Bowel Cancer Screening services for a Clinical Pathway Operations Leader. This role is pivotal in advancing service development across multiple locations.

This position offers a unique chance to enhance your leadership expertise while collaborating with a dedicated team of administrative and clinical professionals.

We seek a highly skilled individual with a proven track record in utilizing various trust systems, overseeing and optimizing patient pathways, and demonstrating the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.

Exceptional communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport, exhibit enthusiasm, and motivate a team. You should be a proactive problem solver with a strong sense of confidentiality and the capability to prioritize your workload effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing administrative protocols and processes.
  • Overseeing the administration team, including participation in HR-related activities.
  • Managing waiting lists efficiently.
  • Facilitating training and development for administrative staff.
  • Engaging in recruitment and retention strategies for administrative personnel.
  • Collaborating with both clinical and non-clinical colleagues to align with service requirements.
  • Working closely with fellow Pathway Team Leaders to enhance and sustain service quality.
