Overview

Do you believe in the potential of individuals?

The most impactful professionals share a common trait.

They genuinely care.

At Change Grow Live, we are motivated by the conviction that we can significantly influence the lives of those we serve. We provide a secure and nurturing environment, respecting each person and collaborating to determine the most effective treatment and care strategies. Our core principles - 'Be open, be compassionate, and be bold' - guide our daily efforts as we assist individuals in transforming their lives, developing personally, and fully engaging with life.

Are you skilled, experienced, and passionate about making a real difference? We are looking for a committed Recovery Coordinator to connect with and evaluate our service users, ensuring they receive timely, personalized interventions tailored to their specific needs.

CGL Knowsley is a pioneering and progressive service with a successful history of effectively engaging individuals facing complex challenges. Our approach is rooted in harm reduction principles, offering non-judgmental, evidence-based information and guidance regarding substance use and its associated risks. In this role, you will be part of the Knowsley Team as an Opiate Recovery Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Key Duties:

Provide steadfast support to service users from their first interaction with our service throughout their treatment and recovery process. Implement customized interventions aimed at minimizing the harm associated with opiate use, through both group and individual sessions. Ensure service users receive a thorough, recovery-oriented detoxification plan, including preparation for detox and follow-up care. Collaborate with other organizations and the community to enhance recovery resources available to service users by connecting them with mutual aid groups and additional networks. Advocate for the involvement of family members, service users, and the broader community. Act as a representative for service users in accessing partnership services. Work closely with service users to facilitate their social reintegration, empowering them to lead fulfilling and purpose-driven lives. This includes promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination. Collaborate with partner agencies to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients, including healthcare providers and pharmacists. Offer community-based clinics for our clients.

What We Are Looking For:

Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for individuals affected by substance use, particularly opiates. Excel in both verbal and written communication, with strong IT skills. Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritization abilities. Have a solid understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices. Thrive as a supportive team player with outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and stakeholders. Exhibit the ability to navigate change effectively, always prioritizing the needs of service users. Recognize the importance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to all necessary safeguards. Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance your professional knowledge and skills, while also contributing to the growth and development of your colleagues. Have business insurance if driving.

What We Offer:

25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing by one day for each year of service for the first 5 years. A dedicated 'Wellness' hour each week, access to a 'Wellness' hub, and an Employee Assistance Programme. Participation in a contributory pension scheme. A wide range of benefits, including discounts for shopping, cinema, holidays, and more. A warm and supportive team environment. Extensive training, career development, and progression opportunities. Generous refer a friend scheme.

If this resonates with you and you're eager to embark on a fulfilling journey with Change Grow Live, we'd be delighted to connect with you.

Please ensure that when completing your application form and supporting statement, you reflect on the details outlined in the job description. This will help us understand how your skills and experiences align with the requirements of the role.
