About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and consultation on risk, safeguarding, and complex need within our service. This will involve working closely with our team to enhance our response to safeguarding and complex need, ensuring balanced and evidence-based decisions are made in the best interest of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance on safeguarding and complex need to our team and external partners.
- Represent our service in partnership meetings, such as Domestic Abuse Risk Management Meetings and Strategy Discussions.
- Work closely with our Young Person's Service to ensure collaborative approaches are embedded and offered to service users.
- Develop meaningful and individual interventions to support recovery and reduce risk, working alongside Recovery Coordinators and other specialists.
About You:
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Social Worker who can demonstrate:
- A valid qualification in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in leadership and the development of others using reflective practice.
- Confidence in complex decision making and excellent skills in communication and defensible decision making.
- Experience and knowledge of the working practice of safeguarding adults and children.
- Excellent team working, collaboration, and creative skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across operational sites as required.
