Position: Finance Manager

Salary Range:
£45,000 to £55,000 plus outstanding benefits including performance bonus

Gregory-Martin International is a prominent consultancy firm specializing in technical management, delivering expert solutions across various sectors including defence, nuclear, aerospace, and transportation.

As a result of our growth, we are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our finance team. This newly established role will report directly to the Head of Finance and will play a crucial part in enhancing the overall finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Xero bookkeeping processes
- Oversee financial transactions including journals, depreciation, and accruals
- Handle payroll activities during month-end, ensuring precise and timely payroll processing while providing essential support.

Required Expertise:
The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in accounting principles and practices, along with practical experience in managing financial records and analyses.
- Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software, with a comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Advanced financial analysis skills, capable of converting complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, demonstrating the ability to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and regulations, with the flexibility to support this function as required.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or equivalent, adept at managing complex datasets for analysis and reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance, thriving in a dynamic environment. Your communication abilities are exceptional, enabling you to convey financial concepts clearly to non-financial colleagues.
A Qualified/Part Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) or possess relevant experience in a similar capacity.
