Job Title: Head of IT Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT Services to join our team at Torbay Council. As a key member of our Corporate Services directorate, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation and delivering first-class services to our communities.

About the Role

The Head of IT Services will be responsible for leading the delivery of IT services across the Council and its wholly owned companies. This will involve developing and implementing strategies to improve service delivery, managing budgets, and overseeing the development of new technologies.

You will work closely with our stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. Your expertise will be essential in building strong relationships with key partners and ensuring our IT services meet the needs of our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of IT strategies to improve service delivery
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of IT services
