Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Chief Clinical Information Officer to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. This role is pivotal in supporting the Chief Clinical Information Officer in leading the digital transformation of our clinical services, both in our acute hospital setting and across our community care services.
Main Responsibilities
- The Deputy CCIO will work closely with the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) team, Health Informatics Service (HIS), and other digital providers to ensure seamless integration of digital technologies into clinical workflows.
- They will collaborate with clinical colleagues to develop new, digitally enabled pathways, and ensure that transformation processes are clinically driven.
- The successful candidate will have experience in clinical practice and ideally experience in clinical management, with a strong understanding of digital technology's potential in the clinical setting.
- They will work closely with the EPR and Health Informatics Team to ensure that digital solutions meet the needs of clinicians and support safe, effective patient care.
- The Deputy CCIO will also engage with staff at every level throughout the organisation, including the community and beyond their own clinical areas.
- They will help develop and deliver a digital strategy that aligns with the Trust's overall objectives, ensuring that technology serves to advance clinical care, improve clinical outcomes and safety, increase productivity, and better the user experience.

Requirements
- Full GMC/GDC registration
- Appropriate College Membership/Fellowship Evidence of CPD
