Job Title: Special Education Needs Teacher

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30-£40 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team at Uniform Education. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of students with SEN
  • Differentiate activities and learning resources to ensure inclusivity and accessibility
  • Collaborate with colleagues, SENCO, parents, and other healthcare professionals to monitor student progress and growth
  • Communicate effectively with parents and keep them informed about their child's development

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent combined with SEND experience preferred
  • Mainstream primary and strong unqualified applications welcome
  • Experience in teaching SEN students
  • Experience working with students with needs including SEMH, ADHD, Autism, and PMLD
  • Ability to identify pupils' needs and adapt activities to their level of comprehension
