Job Title: SEN Secondary Teacher

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified SEN Secondary Teacher to join our team in a school located in North London.

This role requires a teacher with QTS to work with Secondary-aged students with ASD and other Special Educational Needs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver Core Subject lessons in line with school policy and schemes of work.
  • Student Assessment and Feedback: Provide students with regular assessment and feedback to promote progress.
  • Classroom Environment: Build positive relationships with Teaching Assistants to create an outstanding and inspiring learning environment in the classroom.
  • Departmental Meetings: Participate in departmental and staff meetings to share best practice.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: QTS
  • DBS: An Enhanced Child DBS that is on the Update Service.
  • SEN Experience: An understanding of different types of SEN, and a range of effective teaching methods to suit different types of students and learning styles.
  • Subject Knowledge: Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach engaging, informative, and challenging lessons.
  • Passion for Education: A passion for education, and for allowing young people to become the best possible versions of themselves.
  • Differentiation: An ability to differentiate lessons to ensure each student can make regular and consistent progress.
  • Resilience: A resilient and positive nature.
