A Day in the Life

This position at Siemens Energy will be situated at the Siemens Gamesa Blade Factory in Hull, where we produce wind turbine blades. Working at the Siemens Gamesa Blade Factory offers a dynamic and engaging environment, where every team member contributes to our commitment to the global renewable energy transition.

Your daily responsibilities will involve collaboration with various stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Line Managers, Employees, Payroll, and external HR vendors. You will assist with inquiries, resolve Workday issues, follow up with managers on behalf of HR Services, manage data, and support on-site initiatives. Each day will present unique challenges, ensuring a diverse work experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR Business Partner with a range of HR administrative tasks.
  • Support the Regional HR Services Manager in ensuring HR process compliance at the Hull Blade Factory.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Provide assistance with Workday training, inquiries, and troubleshooting.
  • Aid managers and the HR Business Partner with Workday administration tasks.
  • Facilitate Workday data cleansing and maintenance.
  • Act as a liaison between MyHR (HR services provider) and Managers/HR Business Partner as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to coordinate HR initiatives and events.
  • Conduct reporting and data collection using Workday and our local time management system.
  • Support right to work checks for new hires and incoming delegates.
  • Assist Managers/HR Business Partner with documentation and note-taking.
  • Undertake additional ad hoc tasks to support various projects and activities throughout the year.

  • Proactive mindset with a proven customer service orientation.
  • Flexible and open attitude towards tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Ability to establish solid relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in HR administration and processes.
  • Familiarity with Workday is advantageous.
