Job Title: Area Training Manager

As a key member of our Nightcap Head Office team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our venues consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our bar teams, driving sales and improving overall performance.

This is a field-based role, requiring regular travel to our venues in Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and Manchester. You will work closely with our bar teams to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training initiatives to address these gaps.

Key Responsibilities:

The Operation
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance bar team skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of drink consistency and quality control across our venues.
Team
  • Provide expert training and coaching to our bar teams, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Establish strong relationships with our venue managers and bar teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the delivery of exemplary bar service, aligned with our service operating procedures.
  • Embed great induction standards across our bar teams, ensuring all new starters receive comprehensive training and support.
  • Analyze feedback from our teams and identify areas for improvement, working closely with our operations team to address these gaps.
  • Support the development of our bar teams, driving internal promotions and career progression opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring our training programs remain relevant and effective.
Guest-centric
  • Work closely with our bar teams to understand customer needs and preferences, informing our training programs and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality training assets, including videos, guides, and other resources, to support our bar teams.
  • Sign off on employee progression, ensuring our bar teams have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Investigate and address areas for improvement in our Front of House knowledge and skills, providing ad-hoc support and site visits to evaluate the impact of our training programs.
  • Provide regular feedback to our operations team and wider training team, identifying skills gaps and opportunities for training improvements.
