Join Our Team as an Area Manager in Training

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager in Training to join our team at The Original Factory Shop. As an Area Manager in Training, you will play a pivotal role in leading our retail operations and driving business growth in the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage high-performing teams through effective recruitment, induction, training, and development.
  • Sales Growth: Inspire customers through various channels to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Service Excellence: Champion service excellence, ensuring it is positively communicated and that the customer is at the heart of every decision made.
  • Target Achievement: Motivate and manage your team to exceed targets and maintain excellent standards in all areas of operational activity.
  • Market Awareness: Stay aware of local competition and identify product opportunities on an ongoing basis, providing feedback to your Line Manager.
  • Store Performance: Review underperforming stores and develop strategies to address performance and drive improvement.
  • Cost Management: Manage costs effectively to ensure the financial health of the business.
Requirements:
  • Business Acumen: Excellent business acumen and industry knowledge.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to an ever-changing workload.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Delegation: Strong delegation and organisation skills, with the ability to self-discipline and self-start.
  • IT Skills: Good IT skills, with the ability to drive standards and improve execution.
  • Visual Merchandising: Strong visual merchandising skills, with the ability to drive sales and profits.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence.
