About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at the National Autistic Society's Bristol Outreach Service. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic adults in their own homes and communities, helping them develop skills that promote their health and wellbeing, inclusion in their local community, and greater independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee support packages, reviewing care plans and outcomes for the individuals we support
  • Support the development of the staff team, including conducting supervisions and appraisals, ensuring staff have access to suitable learning and development opportunities, and presenting yourself as a role model/mentor
  • Assist with the smooth running and day-to-day operations of the service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of management and/or shift leading within a social care setting
  • Resilience, supportiveness, and sensitivity towards the needs of autistic people
  • A driving licence (minimum one year)
