We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Huntress. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial procedures, conducting financial analysis, and providing strategic financial guidance to teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and invoices from subcontractors
  • Complete financial planning, budgeting, and payroll
  • Prepare financial reports; monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
  • Assess and manage financial risks
  • Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to support daily operations
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring a collaborative and high-performance work environment aiming for common goals
  • Understand and comply with financial regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in finance management
  • Familiarity with government-based funding, particularly DWP/ATW
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in IT software, including Xero, Payroll, and Microsoft Office Teams
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines
