About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our team at NFP People. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering vulnerable young people by managing a team delivering an assessment, support, and move-on service to care leavers in supported accommodation and outreach services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Pathway Manager during periods of absence, ensuring seamless service delivery, including external meetings with commissioners.
  • Manage service delivery at accommodation services and outreach, line-managing staff teams.
  • Provide relevant reporting internally and externally, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and legal obligations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of support to young people and effective housing management, working towards KPI targets.
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally, promoting the services within Cheshire West and Chester.
About You

We are looking for an individual with significant management experience, including supervising teams and individuals. You should have experience in sound decision-making processes, risk management, and safeguarding children and young people. Additionally, you should possess good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, as well as experience in operating safeguarding requirements and procedures.
