About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our team at Depaul UK. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering vulnerable young people in Cheshire West and Chester.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Pathway Manager during periods of absence, ensuring seamless service delivery and effective management of staff teams.
  • Manage the service delivery at accommodation services and outreach, line managing staff teams and ensuring high standards of support to young people.
  • Provide relevant reporting internally and externally, including health and safety requirements and KPI targets.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of young people and maintain a safe service delivery environment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, promoting the services and raising the profile of Depaul UK.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant management experience, including supervising teams and individuals.
  • Experience in sound decision-making processes, risk management, and safeguarding children and young people.
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Experience in operating safeguarding requirements and procedures.
  • Commitment to working in a manner that promotes diversity and equality.
