GP Training Programme Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join our team as a GP Training Programme Director. This is a permanent position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education and supervision to GP trainees.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of GP training programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of trainees and the NHS.
  • Work closely with Educational and Clinical Supervisors to provide high-quality supervision and education to GP trainees.
  • Manage available funds and resources to support the delivery of GP training programmes.
  • Develop and implement projects and workstreams to support doctors in training and practice-based educators.
Requirements
  • General Practitioner with MRCGP qualification.
  • Experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, written, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of adult educational theory and practice.
