About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner or Nurse to join our dynamic Urology Theatre team as a Band 6 leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and acting as a resource for the speciality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients in the perioperative journey.
  • Lead and work within the Urology Theatre teams, providing high-quality care for patients and acting as a deputy for the Clinical ODP Manager.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as an Operating Department Practitioner or Nurse.
  • Experience working in a theatre environment, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
