About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Theatre Professional to join our dynamic team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a Theatre Sister/Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading and working within the Urology Theatre teams, providing high-quality care for patients and acting as a resource for that specialty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients in the perioperative journey, across our general and specialist theatres.
  • Lead and work within the Urology Theatre teams, providing high-quality care for patients and acting as a resource for that specialty.
  • Act as deputy for the Clinical ODP Manager.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Registered Theatre Professional with a strong background in perioperative care.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of theatre protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
