Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Coordinator to join our multi-disciplinary team. This role involves providing essential secretarial and administrative assistance, including front desk responsibilities. A key aspect of this position is the management of the prescribing database and providing coverage for team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

This position offers an exciting opportunity within the Aneurin Bevan Specialist Drug and Alcohol Service (ABSDAS), located in Caerphilly, with a commitment of 24 hours per week.

ABSDAS is a community-focused service dedicated to supporting adults aged 18 and over who are dealing with drug and/or alcohol dependencies. Our service provides comprehensive treatment and case management for individuals facing challenges related to substance misuse, including mental health, physical health, pregnancy, and child protection concerns.

The successful candidate will undertake a variety of secretarial and administrative tasks to support the multi-disciplinary team, which includes reception duties. Maintaining the prescribing database and providing assistance to colleagues in response to service demands will be critical components of this role.

Language Skills

The ability to communicate in Welsh is preferred for this position; however, applications from both English and/or Welsh speakers are welcomed.
