About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recoveries & Collections Officer to join our dynamic Finance team at ZIGUP. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting outstanding debts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently manage a caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate collection of damages, costs, and disbursements.
  • Conduct thorough file reviews to allocate funds appropriately to clients, suppliers, and firm costs, achieve business-set KPIs, and contribute to team targets for cash collection and settlements.
  • Maintain compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules, GDPR/DPA regulations, and internal policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and suppliers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

About You

We are looking for a proactive team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. You will have a Law Degree or LPC, and experience in customer service, preferably in personal injury claims or similar environments. You will also have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail, and high standards of client confidentiality.
