About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Recoveries and Collections Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team at ZIGUP. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting outstanding debts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage a caseload of claims, ensuring the timely and accurate collection of damages, costs, and disbursements.
- Conduct thorough file reviews to allocate funds appropriately to clients, suppliers, and firm costs, achieving business-set KPIs, and contributing to team targets for cash collection and settlements.
- Maintain compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules, GDPR/DPA regulations, and internal policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and suppliers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules and GDPR/DPA.
- Experience in customer service, with a preference for backgrounds in personal injury claims or similar environments.
- Proactive team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail.
- High standards of client confidentiality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Problem-solving abilities and sound judgment, knowing when to seek additional guidance.
- A Law Degree or LPC is desirable.
