Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Consultant to join our team at Contechs. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for applying engineering principles to the design and development of components and assemblies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet customer requirements and ensure effective material and manufacturing process selection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the production process and ensure alignment with design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in design and development, and implement strategies to ensure design effectiveness and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to improve design efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive design engineering, with practical, hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience with CREO software and other design engineering tools.
  • Strong understanding of motorcycle whole vehicle design and knowledge of DFM and DFA principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
