The Role

As an Electrical Circuit Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of the design and development process, collaborating with system owners and engineering teams to define electrical requirements and develop electrical distribution architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical system concepts, including power distribution architecture and grounding architectures, in collaboration with harness routing and packaging design.
  • Generate and verify detailed electrical circuit wiring schematics.
  • Support the integration of circuits with 3D and 2D harness layout design.
  • Ensure project documentation is correctly managed, maintained, and released in accordance with company quality management systems processes and procedures.
  • Support electrical FMEA and design validation activities.
  • Manage circuit engineering change control activity.
  • Generate and control electrical databases.
  • Deliver engineering tasks in line with project milestones.
  • Support prototype builds and provide engineering support for vehicle/system commissioning, fault finding, and diagnosis.
The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Circuit Engineer with:

  • Exceptional knowledge of general automotive engineering vehicle technologies.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical principles, materials selection, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Good knowledge of Electric and Hybrid vehicle technologies.
  • Basic understanding of general mobility technologies.
  • Degree or similar in an electrical engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant industry experience in Automotive, Motorsport, or Aerospace.
  • System design experience from concept to delivery, with a good understanding of electrical design requirements.
  • Experience in automotive electrical systems design and prototype development.
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office and applications.
  • Experience of electrical system CAD software.
