About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Engineering to join our team at EKC Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students and contributing to the success of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and training programs.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans, working closely with colleagues to ensure alignment with industry standards and requirements.
  • Teach and assess students, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new engineering programs, including T-levels and other vocational qualifications.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure our programs meet the needs of employers and the wider community.
  • Contribute to the development of our engineering facilities, including the new £10 million state-of-the-art engineering facility in Ashford College.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineering staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to help them achieve their goals.
